So I’m going to try to find one in between that, for the house. But my, uh, I’m in the process of making the leap, that’s going to be at my house and do a scene. See me, shoot. I have all the stuff to do it. I just have to set it up. I don’t know how much is it to convert it over? Is that pretty expensive about probably when everything’s said and done with the computer and everything, I probably have $300,000. Okay. I mean, in the grand scheme of the things, that’s not, yeah. It’s not crazy. No, but it’s going to be, you know, it’s more for my son, so cause he’s, you know, gonna be taken over, you know, whatever, see, you can do some stuff and then we can start to build. And then once we get, we get the customer base, then he can. What’s it called, you know, he can, uh, I guess he can, we can get a bigger machine. So, um, those lays, does it run G code, like a CNC machine or yeah. Yeah. Well, yeah. I actually got a thing called the. I don’t know if you’ve heard of it, but that’s the company I went through and they, they make all different code and they actually run it so you can draw it and do everything through the thing. And it’s the G code, but it it’s through acorn. Basically they give you a computer. So I’ll have, I have step motors that I bought bigger step motors that they’ll go to, to power each piece on the way on the mill. And then that’ll turn into that’s what I’ll turn into. Um, Well, just that motors will turn into that with the, I’ll be able to run it with the, uh, with the ed. Okay. Sweet, good deal. I guess we’ll get started. We’ve got some, some listeners in here and hopefully some people that want to speak, we’re going to be talking about cordless power tools then really Hattin anyway, we’re going to talk about cordless power tools. Who wants to go first? I got Michael and I, and Chris, you’re welcome to come in here to Jr. Hey, good afternoon. Hi, Chris. I want to know I’m doing good or doing good. I want to know whatever happened to air and why is everyone so all over this electrical stuff? I’m an old tech. So yeah, I ran pneumatics for goodness knows how long, and I’m just sort of seeing the conversion to a lot of this electrical stuff. Um, I actually use these. They’re like little screwdriver guns, and we, I would basically break the torque with a ratchet and then I’d just spin the, spin, the bolt out with these little screwdriver guns. And that was perfect for me because everything that I put back together, I’m usually hitting it with a torque wrench as well. I know it’s a big joke of how many I’ll get Doug is, is it, but how do you do that with an electric? Where did their clicker as well? Yeah, I mean, it’s just a simple conversion from to click it a click, something like that. Yeah, but yeah, I know there’s a huge convenience factor by having something, spin it for you instead of actually doing it, reset the Ridge, turn it, reset the Ridge, turn it reset the Ridge because that becomes very long in the day. Yeah, yeah, yeah, for sure. Yeah. But I know that there’s been a lot of chatter about. Milwaukee. And I’ve taken a look at the Milwaukee lines and stuff like that, but I don’t know, I’ve got a couple D waltz that I’ve been running with and they haven’t failed me yet. Uh, I’m only running a three eight, a little impact and then a drill and a grinder. And that’s all I seem to really use because it breaks the initial holding torque and then just spin it out. So I’m not, I’m not looking for the, like the really big half inch. For the three-quarter inch stuff, because I’m in my stage of career where I don’t want to be investing two important items into my toolbox. Right? No, I understand that the half inch electric, I really liked for taking out on the course and doing a tire swap. And with that being said, the guys that work in the shop with them. They grabbed the electric one versus hooking up an air hose. Yeah. Even, you know, even in the shop to take wheels on and off. So the half inch version is pretty handy, but I definitely like a lot of the smaller quarter and even three eight strive electric stuff, title. I like the little ones. Cause you can really get them into some tight little places inside the compartments and the easier, the better for me, baby. I use. I’m a Snap-on freak. So I have almost every snap on 18 and 20 12, 14 bolt and anything they can get on the small stuff. And, uh, and actually at my house, I’m converting over to Milwaukee. I had some to waltz stuff for like using for souls and stuff like that. For cutting. You know, electrical strokes, you know, stuff like that, but everything is now going to Milwaukee. I changed everything over and I just, I just think the more work, I mean, the wall was good, but I just think the Milwaukee batteries better than at the wall battery. Okay. This last longer, or, yeah, it seems to last longer, you get a better charge out of it just, it seems better, you know, and I, I don’t know what it is about it. Maybe because it’s red and black and it wasn’t my favorite colors. Same, but I just there’s something about it. The walking’s a really nice tool. So, well, John or Michael w what was y’all’s thoughts on the electric stuff? I don’t use air impacts at all anymore. And you gotta be really tight for me to get, go grab the airline to get like the three-quarter gun out or something like have a half inch D wall to work, uh, that I use for, like I said, I don’t dragging hairline out unless I’m filling the tire up or using like a diagram rider. Now it just, it just, uh, it’s just easier. It’s not, it’s not heavier than like my air impacted. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. They are probably louder than the air impact even with the battery. Oh yeah. I remember like early, like, oh God years and years ago when Snap-on came out with their first cordless, like half in Jane packs and like, they weighed a ton now, like battery technology. I mean, everything’s come up. It just, it’s only a matter of time. Like I said, once I get a, a cordless hammer. Efficient. I think I can just like do away with a narrow line without doing tires or like, heck you can even get out of those painters now. So yeah. Yeah. She, I don’t know how that would work in an airless, something to inflight attire. Uh, I’d say that’s the biggest thing, you know, like cordless, cordless compressors. Like I said, I asked about those, uh, just for going out, you know, doing like a small tire repair or something out on the course. Um, definitely cause there’s times where you go with a five gallon air tank and it’s not enough air. Just, I don’t know. I just don’t know if we’re a hundred percent at that point, obviously a big tractor ain’t gonna, you ain’t gonna do it, but small greens mower tires off the new parrot up, plug it at least get you go into the, you know, get back in and change the tire. Yeah, exactly. What’s your thoughts? Yeah, I’m big on the, uh, coreless stuff. My last four. So I basically got rid of all my air tools and just started going forward. There is convenience for the most part, you know, it’s like you throw a couple of drills and you know, back of your car and you got there. And I mean, like you said, I mean, I can take my half inch out there and change out tires and no time, you know, I really liked the DUL stuff. That’s what I had at my last course, but I think I’m going to start going towards my walkie for this new form. Um, to me, it just seems like they’re a little more designed for like the automotive side of things. Like when I was at forest lake, the only, only thing I needed air for was my diet grinders and, you know, pumping up tires, but Milwaukee’s got like the little four list Dyer grinder that I really want to throw. I definitely think Milwaukee’s they’re on their game for as all the different things they offer from ratchets to the diet. Reinders to, you know, the small diet grinders. Anyway, I know DeWalt has a four and a half inch angle grinder, but I haven’t saw anything with the wall on the smaller stuff. So I think that’s a huge, huge benefit. Anybody else. Uh, if you want to speak, just request to speak down on the bottom. We’d love to hear from you while we’re talking about cordless power tools and what everybody prefers. And I agree with you, Michael. I think it’s just the convenience, not having to drag the air hose around the shop, but yeah, I mean, going back to John’s point, I mean, it’s just a matter of time before everything is for, you know, like I was really intrigued during the. The WhatsApp conversation about the airless compressor, because that would be also on me. If you get it, if you could get one small enough and efficient enough, I mean, that can just stay in the court, you know, for like the guys who have like carts that go out and work on the force and stuff. I mean, that’s just convenience. Yeah, for sure. Whole lot, you know, and that way you don’t necessarily have to have. Gas powered air compressor on your service vehicle and have anything. I’ve actually seen some guys they’ve actually got a little cordless or little 12 volt air compressor running it into a little 20 pound tank. So they actually have a reservoir of air. But the one thing that you guys started making me think about it is anybody who’s starting to get into this industry. I would totally recommend them to go with electric because in new shops, you take a look at the size of the compressor and the. And the value that you need to put into a shop compressor. That’s thousands of dollars, opposed to just having a $400 gun electric gun, opposed to a $400 pneumatic gun. So there’s also that cost to have the pneumatic system put into the shop. I don’t know how much you’re going to cost to plummet and do everything else to have just to have air. So yeah, if I was starting again at this time, yeah. I would probably run with electric. Just to touch on one thing about the, uh, electric. Um, I run, I have a lithium 42 volts, a 48 volt cart that I run, uh, and, uh, I have a 10 gallon tank, but I use. Pumps from airbag system and they fill it up quick and I can run everything. I need to run for filling a tire or doing whatever I need to do. And it works like crazy. And then if I really need extra air, I can fill another tank off of it and run two tanks. That sounds like a really sweet set up. Yeah. I like that idea. Yeah. That’s awesome. Yeah, I can set that up for you. I’ll take some pictures tomorrow and put it up, but, uh, the, uh, you can get the compressors and that they’re not that expensive anymore. You can get them on Amazon. And I think if you pay like 200 bucks a compressor, if that you can do it, and then you set it up, it’s it works. Like it works like a champ. Yeah. I’ll if anyone’s, uh, priced out new air compressors lately, uh, the price has gone up dramatically. Yeah, we just got one last summer. We just got one last summer, mainly because we wanted to move the location of our air compressor and we had a vertical air compressor and I went to horizontal and they’re not cheap. I mean, I think I was up around two grand or something like that, just for the. Yeah. I’ve been looking for a new one for the home shopping. I should’ve bought it like two years ago. Right, right. What’d you start getting right now. I sent it anything cheap right now. Let’s look at it. You know what I mean? I hate to use that word, but what kind of. Hopefully we’ll come back down. It’s insane right now. Like everything and like, I don’t know. I mean, are we going to go back? It’s like, this is the new, the new price of everything. I mean, I don’t think we’ll ever go back to having a sheet of plywood being 12 bucks a sheet. Now maybe it’ll be like 18, but it’s got to go down somewhat. Yeah, hopefully. So, I mean, something has to give at some point, I don’t know what it is or when is going to happen, but I just stopped by everything. Yeah. And I know a lot of people that when these lumber press has got so high, even a good friend of mine, he builds houses for a living and they stopped building for about two months just because lumber prices were so. And they’re building spec homes. And before the inquiries, uh, frame and package was, you know, whatever 30 grand and after all the increases, it was upwards to 90 for the exact same frame and package. And then the other story tells is all these people, the house appraised for 400 and they’ll write a $50,000. And pay four 50 for a house at praise 400. So I, I don’t know what’s going to happen in the long run. Hopefully it’s not a repeat of 2008. Well, that’s the thing. It’s like my mom, she bought, she bought a house. It was last year. Now she could have built on the lot next to the house that she bought at the time. Like, thanks. She paid like two 70 or whatever around there. They wanted three 50 for a new house, same exact house. They’re putting them up like crazy. She’s like, why would I buy the new one for over a hundred thousand dollars more, you know, to get the same thing. And it’s not even 10 years old. It’s crazy. Yeah. It’s not where the market is right now. Anything else on the cordless power tools? What’s your favorite? Starting with the Jr. Was your favorite cordless power tool? I think it’s the Snap-on, uh, 14 volts, uh, angle, grinder, brushless. They just came out with it and you can actually do a bed knife with it. If you needed to out on the field, if somebody hit something or did something with it and you need to tune a bed knife up with it and you can use it for grinding welds and stuff like that. I think it’s the best tool. That’s not. As, as a handy one. Awesome. What about you, John? Uh, of my current selection, it has to be, I have a Matco, like 12 volt, three eights impact. That is like my go-to around the shop for pretty much everything that’ll take off, but I think eventually I’ll be on the Milwaukee way with everything just because of the selection. Well, the selection and the price too. I mean, don’t get me wrong. I like my Snap-on stuff. And I got all my cordless stuff is snap on, but I don’t know that I will continue that just because of the press. And I think Milwaukee makes a pretty, a pretty strong too, the value for the dollar. And then just like all the bare tools you can buy. It’s. A lot of times you can go right to home Depot or whatever and get them. I don’t know. It’s a lot easier. Yep. Chris, you got to fight. Sorry. You know, it gets me with that. Hold the wall thing is you pull out that pamphlet and you look at all that stuff and it’s like a dream. You pull that pamphlet out of that box. They kill us, you look at it and you’re like, oh my God. Look at all these things you can get. What about you, Chris? W what’s your favorite electric? I like my little, a quarter inch black and Decker screwed on. I haven’t got two little batteries. I think there’s either like four-bolt or APL and I just break torque and then spit them out. Because as I said before, I use a torque wrench for pretty much everything that I have to make sure that it’s critical, but just winding a bolt in and out and just grab my little screws and go to town. I got a snap on a quarter inch drive, uh, you know, it takes a quarter inch bids and it also has a clutch. And I love that little thing, especially for pulling apart tremors and things like that and set the clutch on it. So when you run the screws back on, it stops. Yeah, I totally do that when I’m using and go through all the tremors and pulling up plastic covers and stuff like that, this thing is great. It’s got a little handle so I can use it almost like a ratchet, but I’m pretty sure I’m going to break the case in one day, but until it breaks, I’ll just keep doing what I’m doing and then maybe look at her Milwaukee screw gun. Well, no, I agree. The same thing with a little snap on it. Is he put it on the bolt and you can break it loose by turning it, you know, this manually and then hit the trigger and run the screw out works. Awesome. What about you, Michael? What’s your, uh, go-to electric tool? Uh, well, it’s all good. Over to Milwaukee. I really liked my three eight, uh, impact for D wall. I mean, I used that then. Everything taken Ben. I was out or Ben our screws out to just run a bolts back into whatever before I caught from now. But I think, you know, yeah. The three eights impact from the 20 volt from D Walt was my favorite. I grabbed that every time, but like I said, I mean, until I go over to D Milwaukee, I mean, I’m going to like everything from Milwaukee, I think. Nope. Nope. A lot. My favorite thing or list was my grease gun. Uh, got a de Walt grease gun, a coreless grease gun. And I love that thing. I, I used it all the down. I never even touched my manual grease guns after. The only thing I think you gotta be careful of is overgrazing with the electric grease gun. So I still like using the, the hand pump grease gun on certain things, my lot roller bearings and stuff like that. But if you’re purging the grease battery, the only way to get. Manual manual grease gun on the, uh, sprayer pumps. Yeah, manual grease gun on a lot. But when you got to clean it, when you got a grease, a skid steer or mini excavators, nothing like a grease gun like that, just. I like manual grease kind with a locking end. So it could just hang on to that Zurich and you don’t even have to try to get your hand in there to hold it in place. Cause it’s getting pushed off, I think has a great point. And if y’all are not using the, whatever it is, lock and lube or I don’t remember. I think that’s the name of it. Those things are the stuff that’s where it’s at. For sure everybody know what we’re talking about. Everybody use one. Yeah, those things are incredible. They actually just saw a new one that came out. It’s got a little bit better of a handle. Anybody noticed that? I don’t know if anybody’s noticed the new one, that it’s got like a better gripping piece that you can get a little bigger and it’s a little, a little bit more sweet. Can get it in better places. Yeah. I hadn’t noticed that mine there know a couple years old, I guess. Anybody else? Uh, on the chime in here, my Taylor, Brian, any of y’all can speak just a mash the button down there on the bottom request to speak here about your, a power tool stories. And while we’re. Waiting on somebody else. Another one that I really love is my quarter inch ratchet, and it’s a snap on 14 bolt, but I use that for pulling bed nights off, especially on the Toros, because it’ll, if you’re running, uh, uh, brush or anything like that. Little bit in there. Some I have to buy still is like quarter inch cordless ratchets. I still, I got, I don’t even use a quarter inch, like at all, even air ratchet, but I got to get those. I got too much money. I gotta spend you guys make me spend too much money. Well, his name is David Flowers and I was just talking to him one day and he was a service manager at a Deere distributor for a long, long time. And he, uh, we were just talking about it one day, because at the time I used a lot of three, eight strive stuff and he’s like, no, You know, most of the fasteners, you know, that we’re working. I don’t only go up to maybe nine sixteenths. So why not use a quarter inch drive? It’s lighter fits in your hand better. And ever since then, I really got into all the quarter inch drive stuff and that’s my go-to for working on most stuff, unless I just need some extra leverage anybody else’s. I’m totally with the quarter and Stripe stuffs. Uh, I like the little sockets that get in there. Um, yeah, it’s great to be able to spin them up quick and the head on a quarter and tractor, it’s a lot smaller than. So, yeah, go for it all the time. And another thing go back to bed knives. I’ve actually got, um, my assistant super, he actually uses an impact driver to loosen it. Um, one would that just smack with a hammer because I’ve seen them going at it with chisels and there’s like, there’s a real tool for this. And he’s actually fallen in love with it, just to break a moose with the impact driver and then spin it out with electric tools. So it’s catching. What’s up fellas, how you doing so well, just got to the hotel here in Fort Myers. I was listening, but I couldn’t really speak just yet, but, uh, yeah, I heard Jr talking about it. I’m a monster Snap-on guy, obviously, but love all the Milwaukee stuff. And then Trent, you nailed exactly what I was going to talk about is a massive fan of the little 14 volts, snap ons, a quarter inch drive that three H drives. Great. The quarter inch stuff is awesome. I have the little, the ratchet gun, um, the impact, uh, and just use that stuff on everything. Those 14 bolts, they just they’ve got the power they last forever. Um, and, uh, actually remember using a little three eighth street. Uh, impact 14 volt from snap on. I remember I actually on a old beater car, I was working on back when I was at my dad’s shop. When they first came out with these things I was putting, I put all the, uh, lug nuts back on and stuff and, uh, tighten them down by hand and then hit him with a gun. And didn’t think this little tiny gun had the power to do it, but it actually one of the. Uh, and, uh, from then on, I was like, damn, okay, these have some power. So, uh, even though they’re a little tiny guns, they’ve, uh, they’ve got some power there, the required power. So that’s my favorite stuff. And then you guys saw in the WhatsApp group yesterday, I just bought that Milwaukee, uh, angle drill. I’m really excited to use that little, uh, little 12 I’m excited. That’s another one that I wanted to talk about, and I’m glad you reminded me the angle drill. So the 90 degree angles. For adjusting and how to cut on QA five. Cutting units is the best thing ever. 100%. It is awesome. Uh, the reason I went and immediately went and bought that little M 12, cause I didn’t even know it until we were talking about it in the group chat. Is it? The directional switch is right below the little trigger and that’s one of the reasons like Anthony Hertz I’ve loved the, the, the wall. The DeWalt. I don’t have it, but I’ve used it. A bunch of them shops that one somewhere. I don’t know how old it is. If it’s newer or older, the directional is in the button, it’s in the trigger. So that is awesome. It’s really fast. You don’t have to like bend your arm or your wrist real awkwardly to change the direction. Um, and then that’s, that’s why I bought that 12 from Milwaukee is the switches right below the trigger. And, uh, those angle drills are just per changing height or they’re so close. You can let it hang on the cutting. Well on the walk or whatever, however, whatever setup you have. Um, and I, I can’t wait to use that thing. Yeah. I keep, uh, the wall is the brand I went with. Uh, and it was really before Milwaukee got really strong in the cordless game. So I don’t know how long I’ve had it, probably 10 years or close to it. And it hangs on the side of my little roll cart. More Nexstar AQI gauge or birdie bar for adjusting the hotter cuts. Every time we get the fairway mower up on the lift, if anyone wants to speak, it should be on the bottom left, just request to speak and I’ll look preview. And we hadn’t heard from Taylor yet. And he asked to speak. Yeah, I just converted to the whole, uh, M 12. Uh, for most of the stuff in the shop. And, um, I really prefer it over the mat. Cause it’s just lighter, uh, throughout the course of the day, you know, you feel like you’re lifting 10 pound dumbbells with some of those tools on the inmate teens. Yeah. That’s a really good point. Hello, Seth, what do you got to add to our conversation? And did you catch any fish this morning? You talking to me? I’m talking to you. Yeah, we got a couple little, uh, little perch. Okay. That’s that’s solid enough, huh? Yep. Said decent amount. I, I, I guess, I guess to answer the question, I, I use everything, uh, Milwaukee cordless power. I got a lot, um, uh, thing I use most, probably 12 drill, um, or the emplo Porter Ridge impact. Um, but I mean, I got half inch bag. I got it. All three gun. I even got a nail gun. That’s better card for Milwaukee. So what’s your favorite one at all your electric tools? I don’t probably the grease gun, honestly, when I got where I’m at now, their hand up and everything. And that’s. That’s the, so we should get clicking to get needed. Milwaukee Creek guns. That’s probably the most out of everything. Well, I don’t know. My favorite by far makes, makes the job easier. Yeah, most definitely. Hey Brian, how you doing? Yeah. Can you hear me? All right. Perfect. Welcome. Uh, we, uh, we run all of them, 18 Milwaukee, um, from saws up to impact and everything like that. Um, getting ready to get a grease gun. And then I think we’re running some M 12 stuff too. But one thing I wanted to mention was that pork crunches, I don’t know if anybody uses digital torque crashes, but they’re one of my favorites as far as you know, away from Clickstop. What brand do you prefer? Uh, I run a couple of Cornwell’s just from when I was in the automotive industry, but, um, I know there’s a lot of good brands out there. I don’t really have a prep myself. Gotcha. Yeah, I’ve got a three eight strive. Uh, And I love it digital. And one thing I really like about it, if you don’t, nobody, if you hadn’t used, one is if you’re going to torque something in like three steps or whatever, you can set it to your final torque and just watch the dial and get it close, you know, and do your thirds. And then when you’re doing your final torque, it’ll, uh, um, beep and by. I know the, the Snap-on torque wrench, but you can check your torque when you’re losing them both to see if you’re yes, it does a work in the opposite direction too, which is another handy feature. Anybody else use digital torque wrenches? I do. I use a, I have the snap on quarter all the way up to three. The big one that they use for both 13,000 1300 pounds. Cause I, I saw one that keeping the tamper here and I was like, I gotta have, yeah, I liked it before. I mean, the Snap-on ones, I have them from all sizes because we have like huge chipper that we use every year. And I have to change the plays all the time and I got to torque it to like 150 pounds and I used the big one for that. And then I have the other stuff. Well, I don’t mind me asking. I mean, obviously I know we can all look it up, but it might be different by region or whatever your Snap-on dealer sell it for. But how much is their smaller one? Is it like 400, 500 bucks? Yeah, it is. It’s I think it’s by me. I live in the Hamptons though. So I’ve been here twice as much as everything else, but I think it was like six 50 or something. Around that price, but it’s worth it. I mean, that, quarter-inch one, they make two different ones. They make one for like doing a motorcycle rims and stuff like that and small, small stuff. And then they make the next one up. That’s like a three-day train, but it’s got the quarter inch head on it. So there’s two different ways to go, but they both worked real well. Gotcha. Yeah, it looks awesome. I want, but I don’t, I lucked up on mine and somebody. I don’t know if they upgraded or what, so it was on the tool truck and I got it used, but still, I think you used, it was like three 50 or something. And this was a bunch of years ago for a three eights drive. Yeah. I had to unpack some stuff. So I only half heard what you were talking about. You said you’re a massive fan and you can convert it all the way from stuff or. Yeah, we have a combo of both. Uh, but I, for myself use all the impulse stuff I’ve found it can break lug nuts off with the MAA teams, uh, and just, I always find myself reaching for the, my, the Paul’s there rather than the M eighteens, just, just for weight. And also too, I got the stubbies so I can get into tighter spots underneath. Frames and in between pieces and everything like that, where you might need an extension. I can just sneak in there. So yeah, I’ve been a big fan of the, uh, the M 12, since I’ve been using it. I don’t really have any particular favorite at this point. I just, I liked them all. And to Tran’s point too, about David Blauer saying that when he was with John. I realized that pretty quickly too, like other than our grinders, like obviously the, all the mowers and everything that I’m touching all day, every day. I don’t, I’m not working on the equipment you guys are. I don’t need a lot of big tools. Like growing up in my dad’s shop, it was all big rigs or class eight stuffs. And, uh, obviously I’ve wrenches the size of my thigh. Uh, like the one Borsos for showing the other day. And. Uh, I don’t need all that. So that’s why I’m so drawn to those M 12, the 14 volts from Snap-on. Um, but I’m telling you what man, snap on, obviously diehard Snap-on guy here. So, uh, take it with a grain of salt, but Milwaukee, like Tran said, the price point is just, that’s hard to beat man. And I’m a diehard Snap-on guy and I’m like, I think I’m going to be buying all. When some of those sets go on sale for, they come down from like 500, 600 bucks to two, you know what I mean? That’s a steal. Yeah, dude. And they were doing it that whole Depot yesterday was like buy these to somebody in the group. Chat said it too. Like if you buy two things, it gave you that X C6 battery for free. And they did, it was that home Depot, but I only needed the. Um, of course I’m charging it to the company account. So, you know, Mark’s gonna pull my head off. If I buy two things I don’t need, oh, I just bought a back seat three batteries, but, um, dude, it’s, it’s hard to beat, man. The other thing I’ve saw is, uh, uh, home Depot and Lowe’s, they both do it. Father’s day, really good time to buy power tools and Christmas. But those two times are probably one of the best times that I’ve seen. Yeah, I caught the pre-Christmas sales. So as we’re talking about torque wrenches and I’m looking on the Milwaukee site, they actually make a half inch cordless and 12 torque wrench. I don’t know if anyone knew that or not. How much is it? It’s expensive right now. But, uh, I actually, I actually sent it to train on their realtor on Twitter, but a that’s why we should be helping each other here. This should be an AA meeting and this is doing the complete opposite of what we doing yesterday. I’m buying tools. I don’t really N E E D I don’t, I don’t need them. So tool only 5 99 at home Depot. But that’s like, I’m sure eventually it’ll come down in price, but I ain’t even know that existed, like cordless, torque wrench. Yeah. I hadn’t heard of that either. No, but what drives a half inch right now? Okay. So does it go from 50 to two 50 or something? There’s this? Uh, I’m sure it says somewhere. I’m just curious 10 to one 50 right now. Okay. So I’m not sure eventually they’ll, uh, make different versions of it, even though it says it’s a fuel. Um, it should, I would be interested to use it to see how it worked, but like in reality, a cordless torque wrench. So we really need that. Okay. I’m going to go the other way. How many guys out there still have an old beam, torque wrench with a collection bar and a gauge on the end of it. I got one and a bed. Nice screws. Okay. That’s interesting. But not screws. I bought one and my Toro days to check Roland drag. That was the main reason that I bought it because I don’t know what else she checked. B-roll and drag with anybody else got one. I’ve actually done the roll in drag with the spring scale in a row. But yeah, I use my old deem Torquer for that kinda stuff too. Yeah. Well, it doesn’t matter how old those get. They, those are actually the most accurate that you can ever bought, especially the old school ones. I mean, they, they stay accurate and if they go out of whack, all you gotta do is just give her a little tweaked at it, the base. Yep. I’ve done that before, too. Gets hit somewhere or something. I have to straighten them back out. Yeah. You put it in your drawer and then a wrench goes again. So they get twisted off to the side is like, yeah, we’ll straighten this one out. Well, I hate to put Jr on the spot, but I got to know how much a digital three quarter inch drive Snap-on torque wrench. Uh, yeah, that costs about $1,400. Okay. All right. That’s kind of what I figured. I thought maybe even more than that. No, no, I, I, I, uh, I had it, I had to, you know, it was one of those things. Believe it or not. I a long time ago, I, um, story, I had a smaller digital torque mention. I was like, I could do it on man. I may end up and I pulled on that thing and I actually gave myself a hernia and I have a huge scar on my stomach from it. So from that day on, I was like, you know what, I’m going to get the right tool for the right job. And I went and I got that to do the right job because I was out of work for like three weeks. It was a brutal. I think I’m in the same boat as Jr with getting the wrong type of tool to do the show. I was doing a pinion flange nut on a super duty, and it was something way up to like, I dunno, 300, 400 foot pounds on it. And I had a torque multiplier in it and the head of my torque wrench snapped and it just shock, loaded everything right into my ankle. When I tried to recover it and I broke my ankle. Definitely get the right tool for the right job. And when we actually took a look at the three quarter in short grant, you was up at the thousand dollar mark on a two, and this is just a, it was a spring load break, a beam one. So it would just sort of bend and fold like a click type of slipper or a crunch. And it was like, yeah, we’re going to put one of those in the shop. So right to a right job. I lived by that. Yeah, for sure lessons learned what else y’all got you want to talk about? Okay. Who’s bringing stuff to trade for the GIS and San Diego I’ll have a stickers. I want to bring some, uh, some are old pin flags, and I want to see if anyone else will bring some flags in. Cause I would love to be able to show off some of the other courses around our place. I’ll bring it. I’ll bring a flag from my long island, Nyack. Why not? One of our Nyack flags, if you want to pick one of those, that sounds great. I’d love to, I think it would good to have maybe about 10 or 15 of them. So hopefully we’ll be able to do some true. I’ll bring one with me. Should I be cool if we could get everybody’s that’d be cool. That’s a cool idea. I like that. I’m going to try and bring flags. I don’t know. We’ll see what the, see what the boss lets me do or not. Right, right. Hopefully you have some stickers. Yeah. That’s awesome. Yeah. I saw your stickers. That’s so cool. We’ll see. The first week of February, hopefully. Jr. Did you get a plan together for going to see Jeff? Yeah. Yeah. Um, I, we got a, I think Monday, if anybody’s interested, I’m going to try to get a suburban, um, like a bigger vehicle and we can jam some people in there and he’s, uh, he wants to bring us to his shop cause his, his shop’s brand new, basically, they just. And he wants to show it off. And then he’s trying to set it up with his boss to get a couple of other shops over the nanny area. So it’s about an, I’m not exactly sure where I look today. It’s two and a half hours, two and a half hours. Okay. So, but we can maybe stop and keys got a tour that we could stop at some other stops on the way there or whatever. That’s what he was working on. Just going to get ahead. I want to get a head count and see how many guys would be interested in going, but it’d be pretty cool. I think to go check out some different shops and get out of there for a little while for night, Michael Jr has said it was a Monday. He was planning on going and I know Donnie Owens on Twitter said something about molten. I have a little thing at his show. But I hadn’t heard anything. Have you heard anything from him, Mike? I have not. Um, could probably reach out to them on Twitter cause I don’t have his number. I could message him. Um, and see what he is thinking day wise, time wise. Cause I got to look at my itinerary as well. Cause I know we’ve all got 48 things we’ve committed to and just not enough time. So, uh, I can message him. I’ll uh, I’ll do that. I thought Monday, I’m sorry. Monday was probably the best day. If we could do it, I thought Monday night, I know. Or I get in late. I don’t know what time I get into Sunday. So I thought Monday might be the best day because I didn’t think we had too much. The show’s not there. We can get out of there. I know there’s some people teaching and stuff, but I don’t know how many guys are teaching on Monday. So yeah, I don’t think they’re doing any classes. Well, there’s a learning tour or something. I think by. Her sponsor by Foley on Monday. And there’s something for the superintendents. I think another learning tour or something on Monday, but all the classes, like the ones that we’ll be teaching her Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, out of this crew who is going, I know Mike, I know Chris de. Seth Michael Brian, uh, not this year, maybe, maybe the next go around. Yeah. I think Orlando is going to be awesome. Yeah. I’m not, I’m not going this year. I, yeah, I don’t, I, I don’t want to go to California. Nothing wrong with that. Well, I’m looking forward to that on Monday, getting out and running around and that should be fine. Um, totally looking forward to getting out. Um, yeah, I hopefully will make it across. I’m heading south. Hopefully. Yeah. So do you have to take a test before you get on the plane? Yep. And I got a test planned for Tuesday evening, so I can get back on the plane because I’m flying out of Canada. I’ve got to get a test within 24 hours of my flight. And then flying back to Canada. I got to get a test 72 hours before going back. So yeah, I got my, I got my tests on schedule. That’s what. Go ahead. Tell her, sorry. Yeah, no, it’s just the, it’s almost being over precautious now when, when you see the grand scheme of things not to get political or anything, but, uh, yeah, it’s, it’s certainly still excessive precautions here. Well, I’m just hoping that I don’t pick up a weird virus, but yet I’m fully vaccinated and yeah, I’ve taken time off after the trip. Just so if I do have something, I’m not going to take it back into. Into the clubhouse or anything, but yeah, I’m hoping, I’m hoping, I’m hoping, I’m hoping. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Cause that’d be terrible to have to quarantine for 10 days or 14 days or something like that. Cause you got a false negative on your way back in. No I’m vaccinated. So it’s on a five day vaccination and it’s, I don’t know. It’s one of these things. Yeah, I think they are erring on the side of caution, but I just pray and hope that I don’t get it because I’ve seen what the virus can do to people. And there are some who are completely asymptomatic in some of them end up in a pine box, so, oh yeah, for sure. Well, you got to get on with living. I think I did add it. And, uh, the worst part about it was is that like a week after I had it, I got, we call it COVID brain out here and like made me go a little stir, crazy high as Trent knows. I’m pretty squirrely as it is. So it made me like 10 times worse than I was. So it was actually kinda Manning for a little while. Yeah. I would agree with that too. J R I had it back in September and that was. It’s definitely major squirrel brain thing going on there for awhile. And I’m pretty squirrely too, from time to time. So it was a struggle, just not being able to think straight and focus on what you were doing. And it was just. No, that’s what I broke my leg. I was stuck in the house. I couldn’t drive anywhere for over two months. So I basically just huddled around my house going, okay, what can I play on video games? All right. How far could I get into the internet? And this is ridiculous, but yeah, I hope I don’t get it. Yeah. Hopefully not. Anybody else got anything else you want to talk about? We’ve got about 10. Anyone want a spoiler on the LA Tampa bay game? No, I’m watching them now. I called it last week in a group chat with a bunch of other buddies here in Tampa since, uh, the ramp just Macbeth has their number on, on defense. Um, Donny, uh, Trent, I messaged them. We’ll see what he says. I’ll I’ll shoot you a text. Um, once he says anything back, I gotta get with, uh, our west coast rep Larry. See what he wants to do Monday, but I’d probably be down to if we’re not doing anything, I’ll be down to go hang out with you guys. If, if there’s room in the truck to go kick it. Yeah, no, I I’m fine with that. Like I said, I’m going to try to see what I can get. Even if we get a big van, I don’t. You know what I mean? We can figure something out. It doesn’t matter to me. It’s not like we’re driving in style. It could be a bunch of bunch of guys in a big band and fall out. It could be a fun night. So yeah. I’m going to take functionality over Ferrari. Well, I don’t know. I might take a bra, but you know what I mean? I think we’ll have to name it. Sparky junior. That’s right, man. AKI could get you’re a west coast rep and I’m gonna sleep on one of the real grinders or something on the way up there. He’s gonna have his van out there. I think his layout is different than mine, so he can’t really mind I can get a twin air mattress in there, but I don’t think Larry’s is set up to, I dunno, I shouldn’t say that, but yeah, you can sleep on a grinder. I’m definitely looking forward to it. We’re going to have, have a lot of fun out there. Yeah. It’s going to be great. Well, one more thing, Jr. Are you going to pick a date and. That we can do something before you do Jr. I’m the first week I’ll be in the Carolinas. So if you did the second week, my wife will murder me, but I could do a two week tour again. I’ve done plenty of them already. And I could just leave the Carolinas and head up to you guys. Give me two seconds and now I’m going to pull up the calendar and let’s, uh, let’s just try to make a temporary date. Actually, the week of the week of March 21st is wide open for me right now, which is rare. I’d say my best week, but don’t plan it around me obviously. But if, if you can, March 21st, the week of that, I got to look up the new England turf grass show. I don’t remember is somewhere rather first of a, um, I mean, The week of the 15th, March from March 15th to the 18th. It is, I don’t know if that works for guys, but, uh, you guys are more than welcome to come there. And I actually have, uh, the house will be up-bringing opening the one house up, cause it’s winterized right now because we’re going to be switching because we’re bringing a construction crew back to finish some stuff up. So it will be kind of like opening. And I think we can kind of get some guys in there depending on weather. Um, so, you know, we can, we can make it work. Um, my birthday’s a St Patrick’s day, so my wife will be a little bummed out, but, uh, we’ve missed plenty of my birthdays. And who gives a shit about your mid thirties anyways, plus, I, like I said, I can come straight up from the Carolinas, which is better than going back to Tampa. And then back up to you again. Um, works for me. I’ll get a better date. We’ll look at it that week and I’ll have her for San Diego so I can set it up and we’ll, we’ll have a good time and I’ll figure it out. And then, um, I think that would work the best. Like I said, we can have the house open and, uh, we can do like a two day thing. And then, um, I’ll talk to, we can talk to a bunch of different reps while we’re there. Maybe I can get some guys to do some stuff like Paul Rowe and, um, John Deere and maybe, uh, maybe. A couple of the people I know we, and see if somebody else will come down, like you don’t care, but we’ll bring everybody in just to get a taste of everybody. If we can get a couple of different people. Um, and, uh, maybe we, it will be cool. It will be real cool. Yeah. It doesn’t bother me I’m down. And then Donny’s literally typing. He said, I’m not sure yet. I need to find out what day every is free. I was thinking any day after four. Okay, so we could run over there maybe Monday evening if we get back. Okay. Yeah, that’s fine. I mean, um, it’s for the sooner take, it’s kind of new and I think it, uh, it’s a good for him because he’s trying to become a, you know, out speaking and stuff like that. So he just wants to show it off. He’s a very excited. Awesome. Well, thank you all for being here. I guess we’ll say our goodbyes and I’m going to see Mike on the 31st, but I’ll I guess, talk to hopefully talk to the rest of y’all next Sunday at six Eastern. Nope. Sounds good. Sounds good. All right, man. Have a good one. Thanks everybody. Everybody be safe. Be safe. Alright.
